Going to the Coast is like breathing fresh air for the first time, I hope that never changes.
This blog is for posting my thoughts, my feelings on life, love, and family, and my reflections of the spirit within.

This was A Momma Osprey getting very irritated and very tired of me watching her every move to try and get a good shot of her in flight. She had some little one's in her nest, I could hear them but not see them. I must have watched her for an hour. Her screeching now and again to tell me she was not happy with me hanging around. I have seen many Osprey catch fish on the Umpqua River where I myself go fishing for Small mouth Bass. Any day on the river is worth while. Sometimes if you are lucky you will see a family of River Otters moving to a new location, playing with each other all the while. This is a rare site, but one that will surely bring a smile to my face. Haven't caught them with my camera yet.Good Morning Sunday
I am having my first cup of coffee, waking up slowly, just enjoying being alive and healthy.

Sweet Baby Ferns
2010
Already half of a month has gone by this January, of "2010". My only productivity thus far, seems to be at work. Today I will go out with camera in hand, in hopes of finding something worthy of shooting. My wife thinks I have an eye for photo taking, I am not so sure of that myself. I do find it very enjoyable though! So here I go!

In honor of The Haitian People's......
The horrible earthquake that has taken so much life is devastating to me and my family, and for so many other people's of this Earth. We are praying for those who have survived this terrible event, those Families who have lost so very much, and for those who have lost their lives. It warms my soul though to see so much of the world reach out to give aid, and help in any way they can, to these people. It is with a very heavy heart that I post this to my blog. I wish the Haitian People Strength and Courage and most of all Healing. We are, all of us, Brothers and Sisters.
Look at That!

Lighthouse
Rain
Good old Oregon rain. It rained all of last night. I love the sound of it bouncing off our metal roof. It lures one into a state of peaceful sleep. Good sleep comes easier when it is raining.
